These images are a small sample of the number of character designs and models we were hired to create for the relaunch of the Superbook animated series by CBN. We not only art directed, produced storyboards for the pilot episode, A Giant's Tale, but I spent time in Bejing, China with John Schafer working with the team at Daysview Digital Image studio and directed the animation and modeling of the characters, backgrounds, textures, etc. I love robots and took on the concept and design of Gizmo. I can't even begin to tell you the number of renditions that we had to go through, before landing on this design.
